Thought of the Day

A max wage might possibly be more useful than a minimum wage.

Song of the Day

Title: Mr. Me Too
Artist: Clipse

[Pharrell]
You know we back right?
Clear the streets out
Come on with it
Ha ha Star Track

Niggas is hate us, I'm doing deals like the majors
Ice Cream Sneakers, I signed my first skater
So you can pay three and buy yourself some bapestas
Bulletproof on the T-shirts because they hate us
Dude like Snoop say, "Step ya game up"
Double-decker boat, Mediterain up
D-Class action cuts, tuck your chain up
Liberachi fingers, niggas hit Lorraine up
Just last week, I was out in Aspen
Me and Puff hoppin' off the plane, both us laughing
A week before that, I was out in Italy
Italian heart throbs could not get rid of me
Up in Donatella crib, me and like ten hoes
Call from the cell phone, give me that enzo
I know what your thinking, yeah Me Too
Okay everybody meet Mr. Me Too

[Pusha T]
Been two years, like I was paddy wagon cruisin'
The streets was yours, ya dunce cappin' and cazooin'
I was just assuming you'd keep the coke movin'
But I got one question, fuck y'all been doing?
Pyrex stirs turned into Cavalli furs
The full length cat, when I wave, the kitty purs
All my niggaz caked up, selling gray and beige dust
Had that money right or end up in the trunk taped up
We don't chase a duck, we only raise the bucks
Peel money rolls until our thumbs get the paper cuts
Children totto, South Beach Gallardo
Teals started up, go brr like it's Nardo
Women if you love me, please let me know
Tie rags 'round your neck and learn the sets we throw
These are the days of our lifes
And I'm sorry to the fans but the crackers weren't playing fair at Jive

[Chorus]
I know, I know, yep yeah, you too
Okay we get it, yep yeah you too
I know, I know, yep yeah, you too
Okay everybody meet Mr. Me Too
I know, I know, yep yeah, you too
Okay we get it, yep yeah you too
I know, I know, yep yeah, you too
Okay everybody meet Mr. Me Too

[Pharrell]
I know what you thinkin' why I call you, Me Too
Cause everything I say, I got you sayin' Me Too
I say I got a Benz so you say me too
You hangin' out the window so they can see you
But you ain't hangin' out the window
When you in that G2
Or that G3 or G4 like we do
Star Track, Clipse come on

[Malice]
Wanna know the time? Better clock us
Niggaz bite the style from the shoes to the watches
We cloud hoppers, tailor suits like we mobstas
Break down keys into dimes and sell 'em like gobstoppers
Who gonna stop us? Not a god damn one of ya
Mean with the Re-Up, nigga we street tumblers
Ivory White, yeah that's the same color
Of azure nigga, best believe it's the mulliner
Take no prisoners, rap niggaz are whisperers
Choke on your own spit just as soon as you mention us
Champagne corks, kicked by Louis sportsin'
Keep my hoes in pooch and Charles Jordan
Cop the chrome and touch gray component
Mink on the floor, make ya hot don't it?
You don't wanna know what the fuck I spent on it
Tomorrow ain't promised so we live for the moment

[Chorus]

Song of the Day

Title: Virtual Insanity
Artist: Jamiroquai
Album: Travelling Without Moving

Oh yeah, what we're living in (let me tell ya)
It's a wonder man can eat at all
When things are big that should be small
Who can tell what magic spells we'll be doing for us
And I'm giving all my love to this world
Only to be told
I can't see
I can't breathe
No more will we be
And nothing's going to change the way we live
Cos' we can always take but never give
And now that things are changing for the worse
See, its a crazy world we're living in
And I just can't see that half of us immersed in sin
Is all we have to give these

[Chorus]
Futures made of virtual insanity now
Always seem to, be governed by this love we have
For useless, twisting, our new technology
Oh, now there is no sound - for we all live underground

And I'm thinking what a mess we're in
Hard to know where to begin
If I could slip the sickly ties that earthly man has made
And now every mother, can choose the color
Of her child
That's not nature's way
Well that's what they said yesterday
There's nothing left to do but pray
I think it's time I found a new religion
Whoa - it's so insane
To synthesize another strain
There's something in these
Futures that we have to be told

[Chorus]

Now there is no sound
If we all live underground
And now it's virtual insanity
Forget your virtual reality
Oh, there's nothing so bad
I know yeah

[Chorus]

Living - Virtual Insanity
Living - Virtual Insanity
Living - Virtual Insanity
Living - Virtual Insanity

Virtual Insanity is what we're living in

Thought of the Day

If the Israel-Palestine conflict ever ends, I wonder if future generations of Palestinians will become "Israeli hunters" like some Jews seeking vengeance for the Holocaust became "Nazi hunters"?

Quote of the Day

It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership. - Nelson Mandela

Song of the Day

Title: Politics
Artist: Korn
Album: See You on the Other Side

Everyone's corrupt
You should just shut up
Lay down, back off
The demon you disrupted

Don't wanna talk about politics
Refuse to talk about politics
Don't let me talk about politics
Don't give a shit about politics

[Chorus]
You want to sleep with him to get to who you need to know
Think thats the way to go don't you?
It's in religion, sex, and everything we do and say
I look the other way won't you?

Everybody's race
Lying to your face
Kick's you in the guts
Leaves you here all messed up

Don't wanna talk about politics
Refuse to talk about politics
Don't let me talk about politics
Don't give a shit about politics

[Chorus]

Tiny splinters are in your soul
And they remain there
Darkest light in the deepest hole
You’ll sit and pray there
All the guilt from the things you've done
You wouldn’t know what for
What you thought was so much fun
You'll have to pay for

Don't wanna talk about politics
Refuse to talk about politics
Don't let me talk about politics
Don't give a shit about politics

[Chorus]

Don't wanna talk about politics
Refuse to talk about politics
Don't let me talk about politics
Don't give a shit about politics

Don't wanna talk about politics
Don't preach or talk about politics
Don't let me talk about politics
Don't give a shit about politics

Thought of the Day

If political science were the study of how science can be implemented into politics to make government more efficient, then it would be a discipline worthy of pursuit.

Artist: Pearl Jam
Album: Vs.

He won the lottery when he was born
Took his mothers white breast to his tongue
Trained like dogs, color and smell
Walks by me to get to him
Police man (2x)

He won the lottery by being born
Big hand slapped a white male American
Do no wrong, so clean cut
Dirty his hands, it comes right off
Police man (2x)
Police stopped my brother again (3x)
Police man (2x)

Jesus greets me...looks just like me...

Do no wrong, so clean cut
Dirty his hands, it comes right off
Police man (3x)
Police stopped my brother again (3x)
Police man (2x)

Police stopped my brother again (3x)
Police man (3X)

All my pieces set me free...human devices set me free...
All my pieces set me free... (2x)
Human devices set me free... (2x)

Thought of the Day

The law of supply and demand would not exist in an efficient, sustainable world. Just because there is a demand for something does not mean it should be produced. Traditional economics is bunk.

Thought of the Day

People in the northeast were generally hysteric about Hurricane Sandy. I, on the other hand, found the event comforting. It's comforting to know that a freak storm conglomerate made possible, in part, by the human population problem ended up ravaging the most densely populated area in the country. It almost makes you think nature has a conscience.

Quote of the Day

Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather. - John Ruskin
